Each year, IIE helps kick off International Education Week by holding the Open Doors Briefing at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. The Open Doors project is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and U.S. Department of State.
This year's briefing took place on November 13, 2007 and was attended by more than 100 international education advisors, officials, and representatives from various organizations and government agencies.
